Skills Needed: Degree from approved school of nursing with current registration in the State of Kentucky. Assist the DON in the oversight, scheduling, and management of the nursing department. Responsible for supervising staff and process related to MDS and Restorative Nursing program. Evaluate proficiency and orientation of new employees on 2nd and 3rd shift. Assure regulatory compliance during assigned shift. Assist in maintenance of Infection Control program. Must have good mental and physical health, sound judgment and high moral standards. Must possess excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and decision-making capabilities. Must be able to handle mental and emotional stress associated with healthcare work and serve as an excellent role model for staff and residents. Valid Kentucky driver’s license. Must be able to pass any required drug test. Must also be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information he/she encounters.

Performs direct and indirect care delivery as specified on individual resident care plans and physician orders according to established policies, procedures and objectives of the organization. Assign duties to nursing assistants, supervising their performance. Must have good mental and physical health, sound judgment and high moral standards. Must possess excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and decision-making capabilities. Must be able to handle mental and emotional stress associated with healthcare work and serve as an excellent role model for staff and residents. Must be able to uphold Infection Control Standards and Occupational Safety and Hazard Standards in the work environment. Valid Kentucky driver’s license. Must be able to pass any required drug test. Must also be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information he/she encounters.

Skills Needed: Must be able to provide prompt and accurate assistance as directed in specific dietary functions. Must comply with established policies and procedures pertaining to safety, sanitary standards, infection control, universal precautions, and safe body mechanics. Prepare trays and help deliver carts. Prepare beverages for meals. Must be able to read and follow recipes and measure solids and liquids. Able to plan and execute plans, determine portions and serving sizes and modify recipes. Must be able to cook, bake, roast, fry and stew foods according to standardized recipes. Must be able to keep all foods at proper temperature. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to stoop, bend, life and push carts and stand for excessive periods of times.

SRNA

Skills Needed: Nursing Assistant training and current registration in Kentucky Nurse Aide Registry. Must be CPR certified. Performs personal hygiene, including bathing, oral care, skin care, nail care and hand washing, dressing and other grooming. Assist in toileting, making beds, mobility, transferring, ambulation, positioning and range-of-motion using appropriate techniques. Use aseptic technique for purpose of infection control. Assist in orienting residents to their environment and routines. Perform accurate documentation. Participate in resident planning through shift reports and care staffing meeting. Communication with nurses. Serve resident meals. Answer all call signals and requests of residents immediately. Assist residents in keeping room and personal items in orderly manner. Participates in activities. Transport dietary carts weighing up to 40 lbs. and linen carts up to 50 lbs. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to pass any required drug test. Must also be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information he/she encounters.

CMT

Skills Needed: Proof of certification as a Certified Medicine Technician. Under the direct supervision of RN or LPN, administers medication per MAR with accuracy. Reorders medications and maintains a neat and orderly medication cart. Coordinate required nursing documentation with LPN or RN. Provide personal hygiene, including bathing, oral care, skin care, nail care, and had washing, dressing and grooming. Assist with toileting, including bowel and bladder retraining and perineal care. Make beds. Assist with mobility, transferring, ambulation, positioning, and of motion using appropriate techniques. Answer all call signals and request of residents immediately. Maintain nursing unit in a clean and orderly manner. Participate in activity programs planned for residents as needed. Must be able to pass any required drug test. Must also be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information he/she encounters. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, squat and bend. Walk about 80% of the time throughout the day. Must be able to assist in physically transferring, lifting and assisting residents with an average weight of 160 lbs. Must be able to push residents in wheel chairs, with a total weight of 250 lbs. Other duties as assigned.

HOUSEKEEPER

Full-time

Second Shift

Skills Needed: Responsible for maintaining excellent environmental services for all areas in the facility. Clean resident rooms and restrooms daily. Non-daily duties in resident rooms such as clean fans and air conditioner filters, clean bedsprings, sanitize medicine cabinets, pull out furniture, clean behind, and replace, etc. Clean in common areas,sanitizing handrails in corridors daily, dust walls, clean sinks, commodes, door handles, showers and shower chairs, etc. Fill sanitizers, clean porches, sweep floors, wash windows, pick up trash, etc. Must be able to pass any required drug test. Must also be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information he/she encounters. Some sitting but most constant standing, walking and stooping, bending, lifting, reaching and crawling are required. Other duties as assigned.

First Shift and working every other Saturday (with a day off during that week). Will also take call the weekend you work Sat.

Salary increased for years of experience. $1.50 shift differential for hours worked on 2nd and 3rd shift plus $1.00 for hours worked on weekends.

Skills Needed: Responsible for helping to maintain excellent environmental services for all areas in the facility. Responsible for, but not limited to floor care, maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and upkeep of building and grounds. Must also be able to use carpentry tools, plumbing and electrical tools. A valid driver’s license is required. Electrical experience a plus. Must be able to pass any required drug test. Must also be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information he/she encounters. Other duties as assigned.
