Sansbury Care Center

Sansbury Care Center is a licensed long-term care facility owned and sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Peace. We are dedicated to person-centered care of our sisters and the lay women of our community. We were founded in 1961 by the former Dominican Sisters of St. Catharine (now Dominican Sisters of Peace). We are located on the beautiful grounds of the St. Catharine Motherhouse in St. Catharine, KY.

Today, as Sansbury Care Center celebrates over 56 years of service, the Center houses 59 beds and offers skilled nursing, nursing care, personal care, rehabilitation and hospice care. We employ approximately 100 people in a variety of areas such as nursing; physical, occupational and speech therapy; pastoral care; medical records; environmental/laundry services; food services; human resources; financial office; MDS; quality assurance;  activities/social services; maintenance and administration.
